This post is about the largest library in the world:The library of congress

It is located in Washington DC ,USA.The library  has  over 150 million items which is more than any other library in the world.It was founded on 1800 .The library is composed of four buildings.

The collection of the library includes 35 million cataloged books and other print materials in over 460 languages ,more than 68 million manuscripts.The books are placed on over 530 miles of book shelf.

The precious collections in the library include a Gutenberg bible of the 15th century which was purchased in 1930
